Privacy policy

This policy covers the apps published under marcosbatistaochoa.com, including "budget", a personal budgeting tool. These apps are built by Marcos Batista Ochoa for personal use. They are not offered to the public.

What the budget app reads

With the account owner's permission, given through Google's sign-in, the app reads, read-only:

• Gmail: receipt emails (for example from Amazon, PayPal and Cash App), to match purchases to bank transactions.
• Google Calendar: event names and dates, to tell which purchases belong to a trip.

It never sends, deletes or changes email or calendar events.

Where the data goes

What the app reads is stored only on computers the account owner controls, and is used only to categorize the account owner's own spending. It is not sold, shared or used for advertising. Google user data is handled in line with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Removing access

Access can be withdrawn at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Data already saved can be deleted on request.
